Mondopoint boot sizing was invented so there would be a universal boot size throughout the world.
Keep in mind, the volume, shell shape and fit vary from manufacture to manufacture.

Mondo is simply the length of your foot in centimetres.

To figure out which size boot you should trace both your feet (with a medium/thin sock) onto some A4 paper. Then grab a ruler and measure from the back of the heel to the end of the BIGGEST toe. This will then give you the minimum ski boot length. For people with very wide or big volume feet go up 1cm bigger.

Kids should go up 1cm bigger to 2cm maximum.

Boot shells are normally made in full sizes, liners in half sizes. Size 23 and 23.5 outer shells are both usually a 23.5 shell.
23 and 23.5 liners differ in size but both fit inside a 23.5 shell. Keep this in mind if you are in between sizes.

Steve recommends...get boots as snug as possible without discomfort and buckle them nice and firm without discomfort or losing circulation. As always, nothing inside the boot cuff except one pair of socks...meaning get your pants out of there!  It is a good thing if your toes lightly touch the end of the boot when the skier is standing in the skiing position.
