Lib Tech Orca II 2027 Snowboard
The Lib Tech Orca II 2027 is the evolution of Travis Rice’s legendary volume-shifted freeride machine — built to surf powder, carve aggressively and dominate all-mountain terrain with effortless control. Featuring a tapered directional shape, powerful hybrid camber and improved shaping tweaks for smoother turning and better switch performance, the Orca II blends playful float with hard-charging precision. Ride it shorter, ride it fast, and let this board turn everyday resort laps into something seriously fun.
What Makes This Snowboard Tick?
• Camber Profile: Orca C2X directional hybrid camber combines rocker between the feet with extended camber zones for powerful edge hold, pop and improved float.
• Shape: Tapered directional volume-shifted design with longer nose and narrower tail enhances powder float, carving stability and control.
• Sizing Concept: Volume-shifted platform designed to be ridden approx. 3–6cm shorter than your traditional board length for quick edge-to-edge response.
• Flex Rating: Medium-stiff flex (approx. 7/10) delivers stability at speed while retaining manoeuvrability for freeride versatility.
• Core Construction: HPONH Makah Hemlock and Paulownia core provides lightweight strength, pop and vibration dampening.
• Edge Technology: Magne-Traction® serrated edges create multiple contact points for powerful grip in icy or firm conditions.
• Glass Layup: Tri-Ax / Bi-Ax fibreglass construction balances responsiveness, strength and smooth ride feel.
• Base: Fast sintered knife-cut base delivers strong glide and durability for high-speed riding.
• Improved Shape Updates: Refined nose and tail shaping improves turning flow and switch capability compared to earlier Orca versions.
